Our story
A bond with the Pioneer Settlement going back to the 1960s
The Pioneer Station Motor Inn and the Pioneer Settlement go way back, to the conception of the motel in the 1960s. Throughout the years our relationship with the historical landmark has only strengthened — a bond built to last for decades to come.
No other accommodation can give you the genuine Swan Hill experience quite the way we can. You are a six-minute stroll from Australia’s first open-air museum, the PS Pyap paddlesteamer and the Heartbeat of the Murray laser light show.
